Mood Board

I created a mood board to compose my ideas for the film as a visual aid with the key themes and aspect i image for our film opening. 

our genre is definitely thriller/action as it follows a man trapped in his own illusion of someone trying to ‘kidnap’ and kill him when the truth is that he is so mentally unstable he is the one doing it to himself. 

i have reflected this vibe by using the common themes like dark hallways and blood on the floor which are still relevant and a shear very much to the thriller expectation, also there are photo of the his mental state which are very eerie adding to the thriller look. 

the use of neon is a key theme in ours as we will be using it very much and even as it is on the purge mask so it’s was important that i used the correct green blue lighting we wanted as it makes the whole board reflect that same look we want from the opening

another theme that is very important would be the mask villain as it we are constantly showing this mystery killer who has a mask so i found it impotent to include this by using the mask that they’d wear and a hooded figure cut also i wanted to show what their hands would look like as that is the only real part of the person we’d see 

i also wanted to include the theme of being watch with is very important in our opening as that is what is constantly on the man’s mind. i included this by putting a security camera specifically in the dark to keep the vibe i was looking for and also by adding photos of writing on walls to show that he is insane and that the real watcher is himself. i also think the writing on the wall is a good photo as we could write things that show him being paranoids about being watched 

i do feel like i have displayed the visual presentation of our opening successfully as i have included parts of the characters mental and physical state while including the situation and their surroundings.
