Title Sequences

 Title Sequence

The whole point of a title sequence is to reveal key institutional information about the film. Just through the title you can establish the genre, the tone, the setting and the time. The title can, with the help of the other factors I have mentioned, hint at the narrative of the film and even hint at personalities of characters. The title sequence also contains key names:

1) money                                          12) costume designer

2) production                                     13) music

3) directors name film                       14) edited

4) main star                                       15) production designer

5) film title                                          16) director of photography

6) actor 1 - (end of main section)      17) executive producer

7) actor 2                                           18) produced by

8) actor 3                                           19) based upon

9) actor 4                                            20) screenplay (writer)

10) actor 5                                          21) director

11) casting

The use of fonts, transitions, colour and framing of the title can also portray additional information to the consumer. The form of title sequences have changed over time as title sequences used to appear after credits at the beginning of the film but now as time passed the credits found their way to the end of the film and the title stayed at its palace at the beginning.

Final Opening Sequence

This final sequence is a result of all of the previous research, planning and practices I have logged onto blogger below.
